Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is the sixth largest public school system in the nation, the second largest in the state of Florida, and the largest fully accredited K-12 and adult school district in the country.

In the 2013-2014 school year, BCPS was selected by Code.org as the first school district in the nation to participate in a unique partnership to increase access to CS courses, curricula, professional development, and resources.
